In Augusta permanent exhibition of the painter and sculptor from Perugia
Permanently exposed, at the entrance of the Augusta Library, «Biblioteca», a sculptor in glass, fused glass and galss volumes made in 2012 by the Maestro Giuliano Giuman.
The sculpture will be presented during the Opening of the exhibition «Francesco Maturanzio. Le rotte dell'Umanesimo Francesco Maturanzio. The routes of the Humanism», Thursday 25 October, h. 5:00 pm.
The work – already exposed in 2013 inside the exhibition «L’arte è un romanzo. La straordinaria storia delle parole che diventano immagini – Art is a Novel. The extraordinary history of the words becoming images» - recalls, thanks to contemporary art language, the value of Study and culture.
It alludes to the ample and huge book heritage inside the Augusta and it constitutes a reason of attraction and interest not only for the traditional attenders of the libraries but also for art lovers.
