Opened on the 21st December 2022, the Library is inside the Historic Centre of Perugia, by the so-called “Arconi del Sopramuro” (Big arches over the Walls), hence its name.
An open shelf pubblic Library, the rooms follow the original architectural structure, divided into three “arconi” (big arches) with mezzanines, together with the Gothic Hall, space intended for silent reading or conferences and exhibitions.
Also present a children area, one for youngsters and teens and one for listening to music, audiobooks and video watching. And 2 gaming spots.
A green area with children garden toys surrounds the Library outside.
