Museum of the Academy of fine Arts “Pietro Vannucci”

It features a significant selection of the heritage of the Foundation Accademia di Belle Arti. 

The collection, started in the second half of the XVI Century, includes:

• the Gipsoteca (gallery of plasters), of around 600 plasters, among which remarkable the huge Ercole Farnese, the Damòsseno boxer, the Lacoonte, the Day and the Dawn by V. Danti (from Michelangelo), Cupid and Psyche and the Three Graces by Antonio Canova (original plasters donated by the artist), The Pastorello by Bertel Thorvaldsen
• the Gallery contains around 430 paintings, among which are pictures by Annibale Brugnoli, Domenico Bruschi, Armando Spadini, Mario Mafai, Alberto Burri and Gerardo Dottori
• a collection of about 12.000 drawings  and 6.300 engravings .
