History of Agriculture Museum

Agricultural tools and machines as historic witnesses
At a short distance from the Natural History Museum, in a new building, agricultural tools and machines can be found, almost all from the end of the ‘800s, beginning of the ‘900s, witnessing the evolutions of the agricultural techniques of the territory.
The museum, recently newly set, is constituted by:
- the mechanics for agriculture collections.
- the photo library of agricultural engineering, comprehending two research themes: the mechanic for agriculture and the rural buildings.
- Drawings and époque prints.
- C.A.M.S. (the managing institution) is moreover reorganizing also the collections of the former zootechnics Museum of the University of Perugia.
Opening hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00 am - 12:00 pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Entrance at the beginning of each hour with a guided tour
Closed: holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Extraordinary Openings for meetings and events.
Entrance: € 3,00; reduced € 2,50 over 65 years of age; groups above 10 visitors € 2,50;
Cumulative ticket for two museums (together with the Natural History Museum): € 5,00 / reduced €4,00
