Museums of the Territory

Perugia University has in this Gallery some of the most important gathering of Natural History of the Region, as the Ornithological Collection of the explorer Orazio Antinori (1811-1882) and the Natural History collection of the naturalist Gliulio Cicioni (1844-1923), vital heritage of our community biometrics.

The collections are inside the  Ex Tobacco Factory of the first half of the ‘900, owned by the Fondazione Agraria of Perugia, in itself a remarkable example of industrial archeology as well. 

Opening hours: at the beginning of every hour a guided tour on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00 am  - 12.00 pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 pm – 5:000 pm
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays
The opening agenda can be modified during the year; extraordinary opening may occur for meetings and conferences.

Tickets: € 3.00; reduced € 2.50 (above 65 years of age, non-school groups above 10 participants,  school groups) € 1.50 disabled persons; free entrance: tourist guides, leaders and accompanying teachers, children under 6 years of age, visitors inside certain projects or special events.
Cumulative ticket for two museums (together with the History of Agriculture Museum): adults € 5,00, reduced  € 4,00
