University for Foreigners of Perugia

The University for Foreigners of Perugia, founded in 1921, and since 1927 located within the historical center of the city in the Palazzo Gallenga is the most ancient and prestigious institution for the research and dissemination of the Italian language and culture.

Its educational offer consists, today, of courses aimed specifically at foreign students, courses for teachers of Italian L2, courses of higher learning and specialization, as well as degree programs, degree and postgraduate training relating to the areas of communication and international relations or the teaching and promotion of the Italian language.
