The Puppets Museum by Mirabassi, close to the Puppets Theatre of Perugia, inside the so-called Borgo Bello in via del Castellano, 2/a, trav. di Corso Cavour, behind the Church of San Domenico. On exhibition about 300 of puppets, marionettes, shadows, made in over 40 years of work and show in Italy and abroad by the Compagnia Tieffeu.
Open again with guided tours only upon reservation, one family at a time (children with their parents or grandparents) with safety masks.
Mario Mirabassi, as grandfather will tell tales with the puppets exposed; it is therefore a chance to re-discover known and less known characters in children storytelling and, at the same time, to admire the puppets made by the Mirabassi Family, real sculptures coming alive through the tales.
All according to the safety rules for museums. It is a different way to pass an hour, in a funny way .
