Palazzo Sorbello House Museum

Piazza Piccinino, 9

Noble Palace of the XVIII Century

The palace dates back to the late XVI Century. It belonged to different families (Montemelini, Oddi and Eugeni). And in 1780 it was bought by the Marquis Bourbon di Sorbello.

In the entrance, is an important wooden floor, unique in Umbria and extremely rare in Italy. The rooms on the first floor with vaulted ceilings display elegant XVIII Century furnishing, paintings, china and fabrics. On the first floor is a great hall with frescoed vault encircled by a panoramic terrace on the city and surrounding hills.
