Mirabassi Family Puppet Museum

Puppet Museum preserves the family’s private collection, as a result of the passion of Mario Mirabassi who collected in over 30 years of theatrical activity dedicated to children.
Selected puppets exhibition (marionette, puppets and dolls) devised for the company Tieffeu – Umbrian Puppet theatre. With its tours, it carried the name of Perugia around Italy and abroad from 1980 until now.
The photographic material permits to see works that have no space in the exhibition. Annexed to the museum there is the didactical room employed for workshop experiences for children. The structure also hosts the Puppet Theatre of Perugia with 96 seats.
Opening Hours: Before and after free entrance performances, on the other days 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
