Located in the heart of the historic centre of Corciano, the Museo della Casa Contadina )Farmhouse Museum) is an importanto testimony of a culture linked to the economy and agricolture dimension the was predominant in Corciano until a few decades ago. The collection was born around the seventies of last Century from the popular will of collectiong and fixing situations, behavioura and tools of a life characteristic of a world that, with the birth and spread of industrialization, would be irremediably lost.
The Museum is made up as a typical house of Corciano, renovated, were all objects serving to everyday life are kept, each one in its proper place as wating to be used again.
Upon entering the house therefore there is a feeling of access within a house ready to resume life at the retourne of the "casaiolo" or the housewife-
The educational activity "peadant memory", designed for children, aims to let children aged 3 to 10 years of age know the life and daily activities of the recent past, with a particular emphasis on the valu of memory.

Opening hours: 
On request Mondays-Sundays 10:00 am-1:00pm 3:00 pm-6:00 pm

Tickets: single ticket € 3,00; reduced ticket  € 2.50 over 65;
free under 14 years and disabled; € 2.00 pupils and
free entry accompanying teachers;
€ 2.50 groups over 20 people.
School educational workshop:
  € 5.00 pupils
(2€ museum ticket + 3€ workshop).
Museum opening hours  Farmhouse Museum may be changed
to coincide with demonstrations and events.
Not wheelchair accessible.
