Music Conservatorium "Francesco Morlacchi" Library

Library for Music, printed and manuscript.  

The Library is mainly constituted by didactic music materials used since the ‘70s – when the Conservatorium became a State Institution, with about 16.000 pieces as books, musical scores, audio-videos. It bestows also a section composed of audio recordings. 

In here also many manuscripts by Francesco Morlacchi, some by Luigi Caruso and other XVII Century composers, above many more printed valuable volumes.

Recently the “fondo Lippolis” was created thanks to the donation of the widow, collecting all compositions by this composer, both printed and manuscripted.  

Present some more funds, acquired by donations: Schnabl-Rossi, with autograph letters of illustrious musicians, Graziosi, Marino, Pasqualoni ans recently a collection of noteworthy musical scores of the ‘900, printed and manuscripts, donated by Prof. Maurizi.

The entrance is reserved to internal students and professors.

External users could – after having registered at the switchboard – consult the materials and ask for home consultation, with the permission by the Librarian or the Director of the Conservatorium, who can grant it as not.
