The Center was founded in 1992 by RAI and the University of Perugia and recognized by the National Order of Journalists, which is an ordinary member.
It is a non-profit association and counts among its members the Foundation Orintia Carletti Bonucci, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia, Umbria Region and the Municipality of Perugia.
The School of Journalism Broadcasting is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools of Italian journalism, it promotes a two-year course in broadcast journalism for young graduates (three-year degree) who want to become professional journalists.
Two year courses will have access examination of professional competence.
