An unusual tower church 

Dedicated to Herculanus, the patron saint of Perugia who was martyred in 548 AD. The church was built between 1297 and 1326 close to the Etruscan walls.

The church has the form of an octagonal tower; it originally had two floors. The current external staircase was modified in the XVII Century. The interior has a rich Baroque decoration.

Opening Hours: Fridays 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Saturdays 9:30 am - 1:00 pm; Sundays and holidays, for Holy Mass at 10:30 am
