Botanic Garden

Via Romana, 4/b (outside Porta S. Costanzo)

Connected to the Faculty of Agriculture, it includes about 3,000 species of indigenous and exotic plants, with didactic-scientific functions.

Within the botanic and medieval garden are preserved about 1200 species of plants of the local, national or exotic flora.

Guided tours, naturalistic, environmental courses and information events are here organized.

Mondays - Fridays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays closed

Visit to the Keep of St Angelo Gate (Torre del Cassero)

St Angelo Keep - Torre del Cassero di Porta Sant'Angelo - has been reopened since 16 November 2023. It is now part of the project "Borgo Sant'Angeli, among art and creativity treasures"
